FLESH MECHANIC Sylac is even more rooted in the 90's than his other project, Holon, mainly from the industrial side of things. The album pulls back on the heavier, more aggressive style of industrial and rather presents you clean synths in all their glory. This is the kind of stuff I was hearing as a kid in movies and videogames and is quite hard to stumble upon nowadays, at least executed as accurate as it is on Survival Mechanism. Favorite track: Outgrow Your Programming.

In love with this album. It's slightly more mellow dark synth than I'm used to, but wonderful nonetheless. Every track is so punchy in a reserved kind of way, if that makes sense. 'Whatever The Future Holds' in particular made me think of a lost love that I had never had, it is that evocative. sbca33

As soon as the album starts and you get through the first minute of Out There Alone and you hear those space synths descend from above before the beat hits, you'll be buying this album, I guarantee that. This is THE stuff every sci-fi fan wants to hear. It almost brings a tear to my eye thinking about the amount of nostalgia and childhood memories Holon's sound brings back. FLESH MECHANIC
